Previous farm experience is preferred but not required. However, if you do have previous experience, you need to realize that we probably have a different way of doing things on our farm than your previous experience and you need to be open to trying things a different way.

We are looking for people who can work quickly and efficiently, but who are also careful and able to follow directions. It is essential that you can work well with others and also independently; paying attention to detail is critical.

Work varies with the season, you must also be punctual and be able to work in all weather conditions. Be prepared for rain, hail, snow, intense sun, wind, cold and heat- all in one day, we do live in Wisconsin! If you are not a morning person, a farm job is probably not for you.

We try to pay our workers fairly and in return we expect people to work hard and be committed to the farm. This is very different from a traditional job and you must realize that the farm has demands that are sometimes out of our control (for example, we may have to work early in the morning to avoid the rain or into the evening in order to get crops off before a deadline.) thus not always having a 9 to 5 schedule to follow.

We are looking for a motivated, individual that commits to showing up on time and flexible enough to work with others schedules, Job requires 40 hours a week, but are for the most part very flexible on how they get done, that can be discussed at an interview if interested.

Brock Farms is a Family Farm, Family is everything and we try to include our workers in that family. We understand things happen sometimes but if we can keep the communication lines open we all can work through them effortlessly.

We do not have employee housing or camping available.
Much of our communication at the farm occurs via cell phone; therefore you will need a working cell phone to communicate with managers and coworkers throughout the day.

Must have valid drivers license and own reliable transportation to and from work.
